FRANCISFRANCIS X1 - POD FILTER FOR 1st Gen e.s.e portafilter handle.
The filter is normally only available as part of the full handle kit. Occasionally we have extra stock from the service department that allows us to offer you a filter at a much better rate than the full kit. These replacement filters are identical to the original filter that was supplied with your machine.
Filter 1 has a filter surface with few pores and is designed for particularly concentrated espresso, i.e for ESPRESSO RISTRETTO.
Filter 2 has more pores and is designed for normal ESPRESSO.
Filter 3 has a particularly large number of pores and is designed for the long CAFE CREME or LUNGO coffee.
Choose from the box above which filter you require.
There are slight variances in the general wear of 1Gen handles.
As a result the filters need to be adjusted to give the optimum size and fit.
Before leaving us, the filter will be sized to fit a standard workshop 1Gen pod handle.
It is unlikely, but they may need extra adjustment to fit correctly with your handle.
This filter can only be used with the appropriate portafilter handle, it cannot transform a ground coffee handle into a pod handle. If you need help confirming which machine you have, please follow the link below.
Not for use with TRIO pod machines, Classic Brass (2nd Gen) or 3rd generation ground coffee versions.
