1st Generation - Aluminium boiler
FrancisFrancis X1 Classic - Replacement Head Seal.
Keep your machine in tip top condition, clean the group head regularly and replace the head seal every 2 years or so.
The group head seal (gasket) seals the handle to your machine. So if your machine is leaking coffee over the top of the handle then you need to replace the group head seal. The seals wear out over time, they are simple to replace and last 2 years, depending on your usage. This gasket sits above and around the group head, sealing your handle to the machine when it is turned into position.
This is not suitable for 2nd or 3rd generation brass boiler machines.
Only suitable for all X1 1st generation aluminium boiler machine.
Not suitable for a 2nd gen X1 (brass boiler) this has a different sized head seal gasket.
Not suitable for the 3rd generation machine (GROUND, TRIO or CAPSULE), which use different components.
