2ND GENERATION ADAPTER TO MAKE YOUR MACHINE GROUND COFFEE ONLY (NO NEED TO USE THE 2 PART TAMPER)
The 2nd Generation FrancisFrancis X1 machine was designed to use ESE pods and Ground Coffee (but only with the use of a special two part tamper, the disk of which you leave behind on top of the coffee grounds).
This adapter can be fitted to your 2G machine to allow you to use ground coffee without the need for the 2 part tamper - if you only use ground coffee, this make the process of making one more efficient. The downside is that when in place you cannot use ESE pods.
This is a great item for ground coffee only users.
Please note if you own a X1 machine, this only fits the 2nd generation. If you need help confirming which machine you have, please follow the link below.
Also compatible with X3, X4 and X5 machines - they have the identical boiler, group head, pod handle and ground coffee handle.
Not for use with TRIO pod machines, Classic Aluminium (1st Gen) or 3rd generation ground coffee versions.
